We're looking for story artists for a new upcoming Feature Film.
Job Summary:
○ We are seeking a Story Artist for a new upcoming 2D hand drawn Feature Film.
○ The Storybo artist will bring the story to life by new ideas and good story direction. Through research, exploration, conversations and collaboration, the Story artist will work with the creative leads to create new gags, drama and emotion develpment of the movie and its characters. We are seeking artists with unique artistic path and good sense of cinema rules
What you'll do:
○ Create storyboard through new ideas, gag and story moment
○ Solid character acting and clear drawing (on model) are necessary
○ Collaborate with grace, humility, inclusion, and open-mindedness
○ Willingness to complete the assignments by the deadlines scheduled
○ Create storyboards: from thumbnail/rough storyboard panels through delivery of finished storyboard sequences.
○ Pitch your sequence to the Director, Head of Story, Story department, to address notes from production and recise as necessary
Qualifications:
○ Must be able to work with Toon Boom Storyboard pro.
○ Ability to manage the production schedule and resources.
○ Must demonstrate proficiency in style of show.
○ Strong staging and composition skills (teen series).
○ Good verbal and written communication skills (all the production material are in italian, you must be able to speak and read in Italian).
○ Strong time-management skills.
○ 1-3 years of experience as storyboard artist on feature film or equivalent experience in animation field. If you feel that your portfolio/reel could be suitable for this job, please send us your works, don't feel the pressure of the experience, we often hired good artists directly from school.
